Your shiny new eQPress site is ready to go! Now what? Here are some recommendations.
- Enable “pretty” permalinks under “Settings” -> “Permalinks”.
Typically “Post name” is a good option, but you can choose whichever setting you prefer other than “Plain”. The reason for doing this is two-fold: on the one hand, your URLs just look nicer, on the other hand this could also increase your performance because this type of URL has better chances of getting cached. - Next install a plugin to protect your website against comment spam. Anti-spam is easy to use, needs no configuration and just works.
