About Nadiyno:

The Nadiyno cyber security helpline is a joint initiative of eQualitie and Internews Ukraine. A team of subject experts provide fast and comprehensive advice on digital security questions from the public. Nadiyno was launched in the fall of 2022 and offers free consultations to Ukrainian users, including journalists, human rights defenders, and residents of the temporarily occupied territories (TOT), through popular messengers and online calls. The https://nadiyno.org website is a growing and reliable source of helpful guides, FAQs and step-by-step support for individuals and organizations facing digital security issues.

About the position:

Nadiyno is looking for a motivated and experienced Team Lead to manage project staff (12 people), ensuring project effectiveness, growth and sustainability. He/she will liaise with and receive support from eQualitie and Internews Ukraine on strategic and financial issues. Knowledge of digital technologies and digital security topics will be an advantage for the applicant.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership, motivation, professional growth opportunities and team building to the project staff.
  • Oversight of helpline operators, project administration activities, outreach and communications.
  • Prioritizing, evaluating, creating and distributing tasks, holding daily/weekly meetings of the Nadiyno team.
  • Preparation of project specifications and business documentation.
  • Implementation of performance evaluation.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and reach of the digital security helpline. 
  • Quality assurance of the Nadiyno digital security helpline services.
  • Risk management.
  • Tracking the status and progress of the project, preparing quarterly reports on project activities (in English).
  • Coordination of the team’s work with eQualitie and Internews Ukraine.
  • Collaboration with external partners to strengthen Nadiyno.

Required skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil society, private sector or government.
  • Native Ukrainian, excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented and KPI-driven.
  • English language skills – at least upper intermediate.
  • Experience in working with narrative reporting, financial operations.
  • A public profile (opinion leader) will be an advantage. 
  • Understanding of the digital security landscape and user needs will be an advantage.

Additional information:

The role entails a 15-month consulting contract, including a 2-month probationary period. The salary offered aligns with the IT market rate and will adjusted according to the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
