Sweden gets eQualitie

Last week eQualitie attended the Stockholm Internet Forum 2014, an annual gathering of multi-stakeholders from internet governance, global civil society, freedom of expression networks, independent media and even some progressive-minded government types. We spent three days meeting with activists, journalists and policy makers to listen to their concerns and discuss the best ways forward for the Internet Freedom movement. We championed open source principles and distributed solutionsĀ as the best way to engage and mutually benefit users from across the spectrum in the fight against censorship, surveillance and exclusion on the Net. Our gratitude goes out to the organisers for the invitation and particularly to our friends at Civil Rights Defenders for introducing us. Skol!
