As part of its effort to create and popularise solutions for civil society and media groups, eQuality is offering training on security issues pertinent to those operating with and from politically sensitive countries. With over 20 years of collective experience working with human rights activists around the world, our trainers offer a unique view and approachto increase the security of staff and information exchange.Hands-on workshops and trainings are usually preceded by an analysis of client's needs and concerns. An agenda for a 2-3 day training is developed in consultation with participants. Combining elements relevant to internal, mission and digital security, eQuality trainers present an all-round approach and methodology to help groups correctly asses, plan for and respond to threats and vulnerabilities existent in their often dangerous work. The sessions are always interactive, with group activities, visual aids and anecdotes of lessons learned. An example of topics that may be covered during a training include:
Post training, eQuality often continues work with the client to develop and help integrate security policies for the organisation.
